Dark Matters 
This is definitely true for my Facebook TL and I do believe it means people miss out on important conversations. At the same time, I debate the usefulness of those conversations anyway. I don’t think I’ve seen a single white person change their mind because of conversations on social media. I still come across people saying ‘all lives matter’ non-ironically.
