Carmen Maria Machado is also a finalist for the Nebula Novelette award and her stories have been 
reprinted in Year’s Best Weird Fiction, Best American Science Fiction & Fantasy, Best Horror of the Year, and Best Women’s Erotica. (And shout out to Machado from this Philly girl. She grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and is currently Artist in Residence at the University of Pennsylvania.)
