#POCtober: Blacula (1972)

One of the top grossing films of the 1972, Blacula was the first movie to win Best Horror Film at the Saturn Awards. Its success inspired a sequel (1973’s Scream, Blacula, Scream) along with a string of blaxploitation horror films including Blackenstein.
“Abby” (1974): this is some serious blaxploitation horror
Stars Carol Speed and William Marshall (the Shakespearean actor with a great voice who had starring role in “Blacula”).
