Seriously though, you should see the reaching being done on social media. You got hotels coming out to rain on people’s parade, the people from Africa who don’t consider the diaspora got complaints about how the movie depicts Africa, you got racist white women trying to compare Wonder Woman to Black Panther on how one is better than the other. There’s just all manner of gibberish being spouted.
Well at least their talking about it. Now if it puts their butts in a seat come release day, they can say whatever they want.

So T’Challa can’t sit in a chair on the Black Panther poster without being called “militant”, but the Hunger Games character Katniss Everdeen can on the Mockingjay: Part 2’s movie poster and just be considered a badass? The Hunger Games was literally about being militant! I have to repost this.

I got caught up in the videos and comments giving love and now I have to go back and do some serious looking into all the hate. (My lovely Dark Matters partner posted this article while I was sleeping.) It’s a shame. So hard to see how this poster can generate any issues. – Erica
